On June 17, 2015, in Charleston, South Carolina, nine African Americans were literally executed during a Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
The “Remember Charleston” grill is dedicated to the nine victims.

Action, instead of “Thoughts and Prayers”

The grill shows two inverted crosses, symbolizing not only the diabolical intentions of the perpetrator, but also the absence of a “higher power”.
In a place of worship, mind you!
Since Charleston, that same power has been absent, or non-existent, in an infinite number of other Mass Shootings.

This year alone, 2023, there have already been at least 200 Mass shootings in the USA. And we are writing these lines in May.
Maybe “Thoughts and Prayers” just won’t cut it.

But it’s not just in churches, shopping malls, clubs, or on America’s streets that people are becoming victims of gun violence. More and more often there are mass shootings at schools, often with weapons designed for war.
That’s why we’re donating 10% of the proceeds from the sale of this Grillz to the “Sandy Hook Promise” organization, a non-profit dedicated to addressing the issue of gun violence specifically in schools in the US. “Sandy Hook Promise” was founded by parents and family members who lost their children in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Twenty-six people lost their lives.
Twenty were children between the ages of six and seven.

Featured in this video is Mark Barden, a co-founder of Sandy Hook Promise. He lost his son Daniel in the school shooting.

Being cross with the cross

If you feel uncomfortable with the inverted crosses of this grill, you can order it with regular crosses. It is important to us to help and bring about change, not to insist on a design. With your help, we can at least make a small contribution.

What do you have to do with America, you ask? Maybe nothing.
Actually, neither do we.

But we don’t see Gun Violence as an American problem, we see it as a human/political problem that can be contained through change – even from the outside.

18-Karat and counting – Love it, Wear it, Sell it

All our gold Grillz are made exclusively from 18 carat dental gold alloy. This provides the best possible oral durability and quality.
The high quality makes our Grillz a bit more expensive than some other suppliers, because quality just has its price.
We do not offer cheaper gold Grillz, which are based on chrome-cobalt and are only “gold-plated” with a very thin layer of gold.

If a scratch gets into the Grill, you can quickly see that the Grill is not really made of gold. Our gold Grillz are gold through and through and so the price difference comes about because 100% gold is just more expensive than 1%.
And yes, Grillz are expensive, but also bear in mind that the gold used is valuable. If at some point you no longer like your Grill, you can sell the gold, just like gold earrings or a gold chain.

No nickel, copper or zinc is mixed into our gold, so no allergies can occur. The high quality of the metal guarantees a very good wearing comfort.

Green Gold

The gold itself is sourced from the traditional high-tech company C.Hafner in Germany. The company has been in business since 1850 and is known for its precious metals of the highest quality. Besides, C.Hafner is the first and so far only refinery with CO2-neutral recycling process and CO2-neutral gold.
The gold alloy used is compatible with Colorit colors, so you can make your Grillz colorful.

Right of withdrawal

According to §321g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB there is no right of withdrawal, because your Grillz are made especially for you.
However, we are happy to make corrections if your grill does not fit perfectly.
